On this platform you will find resources from presentations given during a past ESC Congress: slides, e-posters, videos, abstracts and reports.
WHAT IS A CONGRESS RESOURCE?
A congress resource could be a presentation slideset, an e-Poster, a video, an abstract or a report – unbiased scientific opinion on key sessions and presentations from some of most well-known experts.
CAN I FIND OTHER CONGRESS RESOURCES?
On this platform, you will only find ESC Congress related resources. If you are looking for resources from other ESC sub-speciality congresses, please visit ESC website.
HOW CAN I FIND A PRESENTATION ON ESC CONGRESS 365?
To find a presentation, you may use the provided filters and/or keywords search from the ESC Congress 365 homepage.
LOG-IN WITH YOUR "MY ESC ACCOUNT"
WHAT IS A "MY ESC ACCOUNT"?
A "My ESC account" is a free of charge personal account giving the user access to congress resources, online journals, newsletters etc… From this account users can also renew his/her membership, register for a congress or access a webinar.
DO I NEED TO SIGN-UP OR LOG-IN TO ACCESS THE PLATFORM?
No, but you will need to do so to access the resources. You will either sign-up – if you don’t have a My ESC account – or log-in with the email address and password you usually use on the ESC website.
Creating a "My ESC account" is free of charge, you may sign-up via this link.
WHY DO I NEED TO LOG-IN?
You will need to log-in to your "My ESC account" to access ESC Congress resources. These resources are only accessible to certified healthcare professionals, associated press, industry representative and other qualified stakeholders in the science, management and prevention of cardiovascular disease.
IF I HAVE A "MY ESC ACCOUNT", AM I AN ESC MEMBER?
There is no link between having a "My ESC account" and being an ESC member. If you want to know more about ESC membership and becoming an ESC member, click on the red button “Membership” on the top bar.
HOW TO SIGN-UP AND CREATE A "MY ESC ACCOUNT"?
To sign-up and create your "My ESC account", you can click on “Log in to My ESC” at the top of the page. It will lead you to the sign-up webpage; simply follow the steps; it will take you less than 5 minutes.
DO I NEED TO BE AN ESC MEMBER TO ACCESS THE RESOURCES?
You do not need to be an ESC member to access the resources. However you need to have a "My ESC account".
DO I NEED TO ATTEND ESC CONGRESS TO ACCESS THE RESOURCES?
The access to the congress resources on ESC Congress 365 platform is open to all "My ESC account" holders. The attendance to ESC Congress is not mandatory.
CAN I GET ACCESS TO ANY CONTENT FOR FREE?
Yes, the access to ESC Congress 365 is free to all.
CAN I ACCESS THE RESOURCES FROM HOME?
Yes, you can access ESC Congress 365 and the resources from anywhere and from any device as long as you have an internet connection.
SEARCH BY KEYWORDS OR FILTERS
HOW DO I FIND AN ABSTRACT FROM A SPECIFIC AUTHOR?
Type the author’s name in the search bar from the home page.
WHERE CAN I FIND CITATIONS OF ABSTRACTS?
The citation of the abstracts is available on the abstract itself. Look for the presentation on ESC Congress 365 then open the “abstract” resource: the citation will be mentioned there.
I WENT TO AN INTERESTING SESSION LAST YEAR AT 12:00 ON SATURDAY IN THE MAIN AUDITORIUM AND I CAN'T REMEMBER THE TITLE OF THE SESSION. HOW DO I FIND THE VIDEOS OR SLIDES?
The best way to find the presentation you are looking for is to know the presenter or author(s)’s name(s), to type it in the search bar and select the year when it was presented. If you don’t have this information, you can look for this session’s title via the Scientific Programme & Planner which is organised by day and timeslots.
HOW CAN I FIND ABSTRACTS BEFORE 2010?
Congress resources presented before 2011 are not available on ESC Congress 365. To consult the abstracts presented before 2011, click on the following link.
CAN I ACCESS ALL PRESENTATIONS FROM A SPECIFIC COUNTRY?
To access all presentations from a specific country type the country name in English using quotation marks in the search bar.
e.g. “South Africa”: search results will be displayed with presenter(s) or author(s) from “South Africa”.
I CLICK ON “REFINE SEARCH” BUT STILL CAN ACCESS ONLY TOPICS FROM ARRHYTHMIAS WHILE I SEARCH FOR OTHER TOPICS
The “Refine search” tool is useful to add search items within your current search. If you want to create a new search you can either click on “Clear refined search” – all filters will be restored to empty – or you can click on the ESC Congress 365 logo, on the upper left corner to go back to the home page.
HOW DO I MAKE A NEW SEARCH?
Click on the ESC Congress 365 logo on the upper left corner to return to the home page.
HOW CAN I SEARCH IN DIFFERENT SUB-TOPICS THAT ARE NOT MAIN TOPICS?
To select sub-topics, you will have to first select the topic(s) within the topics list and then the related sub-topics will appear in the filter “Sub-topics”.
WHAT IS “MY 365 SELECTION”?
“My 365 selection” is the selection of all the presentations you tagged as “Favourite” with the star button.
HOW CAN I SAVE A SEARCH?
For now you cannot save a search result.
IS THERE ANY EMAIL ALERT WHEN THE RESOURCE IS AVAILABLE?
Most of the resources are available within 24hrs after presentation. For now, there is no email alert available.
WHY DO SOME PRESENTATIONS DON’T HAVE SLIDES AND/OR VIDEOS?
ESC Congress 365 only features resources for which the speakers and/or presenters have granted the European Society of Cardiology the rights to use for educational purposes.
WHY SOME PRESENTATIONS DO NOT HAVE AN ABSTRACT?
Abstracts are available only for abstract based presentations.
1 WEEK BEFORE THE CONGRESS, ABSTRACTS ARE PUBLISHED BUT WHY ARE SOME ABSTRACTS STILL NOT AVAILABLE?
An abstract may not be available if there it is an embargoed: the abstract will be released after presentation.
WHY CAN'T I ACCESS THE POSTER ALTHOUGH I CAN VIEW THE ABSTRACT?
The e-poster is available only if the presenter has submitted it to the ESC and granted copyrights to ESC.
WHY CAN’T I FIND THE PRESENTATION I AM LOOKING FOR?
If the presentation you are looking for is not visible, it means that the presenter(s)/author(s) have not granted the ESC the right to use their presentation for educational purpose.
HOW CAN I GET PERMISSION TO REUSE SOME CONTENT?
To reuse content you will have to send a request to the ESC Scientific Team by sending an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
